The Truth About Nicoderm Cq

Does NicoDerm CQ really work effectively? NicoDerm CQ is another form of a nicotine replacement in the form of a therapeutic patch. Just about everyone has heard of NicoDerm CQ if they’ve been paying attention.

When you stop smoking, symptoms of nicotine withdrawal start to set in almost immediately.  The full effect of it will hit within 24 hours, but many smokers begin to experience some nicotine withdrawal in the first 4 hours.  Using nicotine replacements like NicoDerm CQ can make nicotine withdrawal symptoms less than going cold turkey alone.

Does NicoDerm CQ really work and what’s so different about it?

Any nicotine replacement can work if you’re serious about quitting.  You have to be dedicated and 100% sure you’re committed to quitting.  With the right quitting strategies and the right amount of dedication, a nicotine replacement can do wonders for a smoker trying to kick their smoking habit.

NicoDerm CQ is a patch which slowly releases nicotine at controlled levels for 24 hours.  The amount of nicotine released into the user’s system is slower and lesser than cigarettes, but it can definitely help with nicotine withdrawal symptoms.

There have been over 100 clinical studies regarding NicoDerm CQ over the past few decades which have produced very positive results.  The product website claims that NicoDerm CQ is the number one doctor recommended quit smoking aid.

The NicoDerm CQ ThinFlex is available in either  opaque or clear and is patented with SmartControl technology.  The patch is put on once a day and is worn for up to 24 hours.  It’s recommended that the patch be used for 8 to 10 weeks.

SmartControl technology means the nicotine is slowly released into your body, ensuring that too much nicotine isn’t released at one time.  After about 8 weeks , the body has naturally weaned itself from nicotine dependency.

The NicoDerm CQ is available in two different patches and which patch you use depends on your nicotine dependency.  If you smoke more than 10 cigarettes a day, you would start using the 21 mg strength patch.  If you smoke 10 cigarettes or less a day, you would start using the 14 mg strength patch.

The patch is available in a third lower level of 7 mg.  Depending on how many cigarettes you smoke a day, you pick your starting point and then you work your way down according to package directions.

NicoDerm CQ also offers a $7 off coupon and a non-medicated sample as well as a Rewards program earning consumers up to $125 back.

Will NicoDerm CQ work for you?  It absolutely could be a beneficial tool to help you quit smoking, but you have to want to quit.  If you’re 100% committed, give NicoDerm CQ a try.
