Committedsmokers.com is an online service which caters to each smoker’s individual needs. This service is provided by the people who created NicoDerm CQ, Nicorette and Commit.
With the new changes in city and state regulation regarding public smoking and the raised cost of cigarettes, more people are considering quitting. Whether it’s because of money and convenience or because of health for either themselves or family members, it’s evident that people are trying to make a change for the better.
Some smokers need that additional help, but don’t want to join a quit smoking group or study
Committed Quitters is a website dedicated to help people quit smoking. Smokers can go onto the website and create a personalized account. Visitors can take the smoking test online in order to determine which will be the best method of quitting smoking for their individual needs.
After the user has completed the test, the website generates a personalized quit smoking plan custom for their unique situation. Committed Smokers pushes a variety of therapeutic nicotine products such as NicoDerm CQ, Nicorette and Commit.
Each Committed Quitters Plan includes helpful hints to help each individual get by their particular smoking barriers as well as ongoing information to help the person stay committed throughout the process. Members also receive e-mail newsletter with tips to help manage triggers smokers face when they’re trying to quit.
Smokers can take the test and review a sample plan before they even enroll in the program. Individuals interested in joining the site, take a short survey and then a sample plan is generated from the person’s answers. The sample plan includes a smoking profile.
The online questionnaire takes approximately 15 minutes to complete. Not all answers are mandatory. A profile and quit plan will be put together for the user within 24 hours. Becoming a member provides tips and information and allows the user to track their progress changes. Members will have access to the site for 15 weeks from the day they enroll.
The online program is free of charge, however, it’s based on NicoDerm CQ, Nicorette and Commit quit smoking aids, which the user will need to purchase online (resources available on the site) or in a local store such as Walgreen’s or Wal-Mart.
Committed Smokers also has a link to another website at http://ways2quit.com. This site also has an online membership and offers other interesting information like an age progression movie, information about the best time to quit, how to quit, beating addiction and support information.
These websites are excellent resources for people who are trying to quit smoking.
