Sit down and consider the goals in mind. Make a list of all of your goals, no matter how trivial they may seem. Be specific. Create a plan for implementing these goals into your life. Make sure you keep your goals and life plans realistic. This is not magic and it’s not an instant quick fix, so you need to be planning on reality and things that fit back into your specific lifestyle.
Write your goals down. Write each goal several different ways so that you get the point across and it becomes a natural thought.
Find a quiet place where you can be alone and there will be no distractions. Make yourself comfortable. If possible, turn off the phones, make sure you’ve gone to the bathroom and that you have everything you need so that you don’t have to interrupt yourself.
You may light candles, play soft relaxing music and burn some incense if this appeals to your senses.
Begin your session with a normal voice. As you get deeper into the session, your voice should be softer and your speech should be at a slower pace. You may return your voice back to normal as you leave the hypnotic session.
Use deep breathing to relax and focus your mind, body and spirit on your intentions. Once you are in a deep relaxed state, begin to count yourself down. You can use verbal imagery such as steps, elevators and other similar thing. Focus on what you’re describing and let yourself go. Don’t feel too stressed out over it, let it happen naturally. Create an inner world for yourself to relax in. In can be a place you know or an imagined place. It can even be a combination of both. Use all of your senses, touch, scent, sounds, etc.
Spend as much time as you need to in this vivid world. Make some post-hypnotic suggestions near the end of yourself hypnosis trip for when you re-enter hypnosis the next time.
When it’s time to leave, talk yourself out of it as you entered. Your voice can get stronger until it is normal as you leave.
Sometimes, while deep in trance, individuals may see symbols. These symbols can be unique or symbols one recognizes. Make sure you keep a notebook by your side so you can draw or write about these symbols when you are done. Placing the symbols around your home, office space and vehicle can be very helpful in attaining your goals.
