this is very common i know many people who have gained weight after smoking.
there are two main reasons to this firstly , smoking does speed up you metabolic rate yet can also damage it at the same time.
secondly you'll find you will crave food moe often fatty and high sugary foods, there is nothing to worry about at this stage as long as you take some form of action.
firstly try eating foods that will lower your hunger levels , so try eating high carb foods pasta or a sandwich. eat fruit so when you do get peckish have an apple to help satisfy you mind of hunger.
Try exercing more often don't go into hardcore fitness just yet but try home exercise e.g. push ups sits ups jogging on the spot.
