My husband refuses to quit smoking?
i know that i shouldnt control what he does but i have quit and want him to think about his health and our family... i have a lot of health problems < which is why i quit> recovering cancer patient, alpha-1 and blood problems < my body doesnt make enough white or red blood cells> and i know that i wont be around forever but how can i get him to see that he needs to quit smoking for the good of the family and his health i dont want to leave our kids taking care of us or worrying about being left alone...serious answers only this isnt a joke

Maybe you should show him some pictures of damged parts of the body due to smoking, this sounds like a junior high thing, but it does work. Tell him how much money he could save if he didnt buy cigarettes, then he could buy something he really wanted. A pack a day per year = 1 pint or more of tar in the lungs. YUCK!
You can't make him do anything, what if you try buying him one of those electronic cigarettes? My brother had it to try to quit and it helped him some. That way its not harmful to him or your family yet he still gets the satisfaction.
dress up like a ghost and tell him if he does not stop you will haunt him for the rest of his damaged coughfull life
