I don't smoke, so I can't say I know for sure, but my uncle stopped smoking and he used to chew gum to help him when he had a craving. They say it takes 30 days to form new habits, so just keep on trying and eventually it'll get better.

I did quit smoking. It's been 11 years now. It takes a little while but you will start noticing the desire to smoke will start to get less and less. Keep your fingers and mouth busy. Drinking water helps, as does chewing gum or eating raw carrots. Holding a pencil or pen helps with wanting to hold a cigarette. I don't have to hold anything anymore, but I still sometimes smoke in my dreams. I hope you make it. Smoking is one of the worst things you can do to yourself. Good luck.
