How long is it before I get my memory back from chronic marijuana smoking?
I recently quit smoking weed as of yesterday and i've noticed a drastic change in my ability to remember just about anything. I am a chronic marijuana smoker and have smoked for quite sometime now. My question is, how long before I can get my memory back to how it was before I smoked pot?

Well recently they overturned the study that it kills brain cells (swapped the words kill and stun ha). But You should start to feel better in short term and your body will appreciate it for sure. But as to when you'll feel completely normal not completely sure. Run by a detox shop and see whats up maybe some of that **** can help.

Marijuana does not affect memory.

Have you ever talked to any middle-aged sober person? They can't remember jack. Like jack-all nothing. As you get older your brain doesn't work as well. That's just how it goes. The biology of your brain. Maybe you don't remember anything because you don't want to? Or you don't even try to? If you can't remember 'anything' you might have something else wrong with you than weed. Can you still put your clothes on by yourself? Are you able to feed yourself? Can you still use the bathroom on your own? Your ability to 'remember just about anything' is pretty vague. LOTS OF PEOPLE forget details about their day. Ask anybody what they ate for lunch four days ago or how fast they went to work everyday this week in their car. It's about what YOU focus on.
Sorry but smoking weed isn't going to make your memory loss any worse or make your memory retention any better. If you quit smoking weed... it's the exact same as being stoned except you aren't stoned. Trust me. I smoked for 14 years. I never got 'stupid.' I've held jobs (for years) and got degrees from college. Only reason I quit is because it was a luxury and I was not pulling in enough cash to pay for it. You think you got stupid from smoking weed and you keep smoking weed? Don't you think you were already a little off to begin with? If you continue doing something to make yourself more incompetent? That's pretty bad logic honestly. You might want to evaluate how you apply thought in situations prior to blaming a substance.
It may be how you focus your thoughts and energy onto the world that causes you to forget stuff. There are no proven negative psychological effects to marijuana. If you would like you can e-mail me about it I would love to see it. Read about Irvin Rosenfeld, and he's not just ONE person who can vouch for this. He is a stock broker that smokes weed everyday prescribed by the FEDERAL GOVERNMENT. He handles MILLIONS AND MILLIONS of dollars of OTHER PEOPLE'S MONEY. I guess he's an idiot? Nah. We are just brainwashed and probably ignorant to begin with. So don't be to hard on yourself.
